Recovery begins with understanding who is owed the money.

Three stages of action.
A strategy for each case.

We assess each claim and identify the appropriate path, seeking an amicable resolution where feasible and using legal procedures when necessary.

STAGE 0101

Outreach and negotiation

Portfolio organization, data verification, respectful outreach and direct negotiation with the debtor, within terms authorized by the creditor.

Contact · proposal · agreement
STAGE 0202

Conciliation at CEJUSC

Where appropriate, we pursue a settlement through Brazil’s Judicial Center for Conflict Resolution and Citizenship (CEJUSC). An agreement approved by a judge may become an enforceable court title.

Mediation · formalization · legal certainty
STAGE 0303

Court proceedings

When no settlement is reached, or when litigation is appropriate from the outset, we assess enforcement, payment-order proceedings, collection actions or judgment enforcement, depending on the supporting documents.

Legal review · suitable action · follow-up

Flexible stages: not every case goes through all three stages. The choice of CEJUSC or litigation depends on the nature of the debt, available evidence and the circumstances of each case.

Successful debt recovery also requires finding relevant information.

Alongside initial record checks, we may use specialized research tools to identify contact details, relationships, corporate links and potential assets relevant to a recovery strategy.

Common questions. Clear answers.

Every debt recovery plan depends on the claim involved. Here are some general answers about how we work.

Send a question by email
Must every case go through all three stages?

No. The stages are options, not a mandatory sequence. Depending on the documents and circumstances, direct negotiation, conciliation or immediate court proceedings may be appropriate.

Do you handle unpaid condominium fees?

Yes. We manage and negotiate documented overdue condominium fees, keep property managers informed and assess appropriate legal measures when needed.

What happens when an agreement is reached at CEJUSC?

If the parties agree, the terms may be submitted for judicial approval. Once approved, the agreement can become an enforceable court title, subject to applicable requirements.

Do the searches guarantee assets will be found or payment collected?

No. Searches help identify relevant information when lawfully available. Data availability, the existence of assets and successful recovery depend on each case.

Which documents do you need to get started?

Typically, contracts, invoices, proof of delivery or services, debt instruments, updated balances and payment history. Condominiums may also need records of assessed fees and management documentation.

Do you serve clients outside São Paulo state?

Yes. Moreno Advocacia serves clients across Brazil. Available measures and participation arrangements depend on local jurisdiction and procedures.
